IFWMC2022 3rd China International Flat Wire Motor Summit

According to statistics, 5 of the top 15 new energy models sold from January to October 2021 are equipped with flat-wire motors, and the penetration rate has reached 27.08%. From the supply side of the market, flat-wire motor manufacturers to accelerate the expansion of production, the industry is expected to be a step up in mass production capacity in 2022, the penetration rate is expected to exceed 90% in 2025, with a 5-year compound growth rate of 114.96%, with high growth potential.

At present, the flat wire motor has significant advantages in efficiency, power density, heat dissipation capacity, volume and weight, etc. In the future, with the further maturity of the technology process, the production cost of flat wire motor will be lower than the traditional round wire motor.

It is foreseeable that there will be a broader application market for flat-wire motors in the future, and with the mass mounting and application of flat-wire motors, it will further promote the development of global electrification.
